James is an Indiana Hoosier, but has lived in Ohio almost all his life. He graduated Cum Laude, from The University of Findlay with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Telecommunications. He began his career On-Air at 92.5 Kiss FM in Toledo. James moved to Kansas to be Imaging Director at notable stations in Topeka, Kansas, including KLZR-FM, KLWN-AM, KJCK-FM, KQTP and KTPK. After his wife finished up her school at Kansas State University, they move back to Akron Ohio to take over as Creative Services Director and Morning Show Producer for the Legendary 97.5 WONE and 94.9 WQMX.
James has been a magician since the age of 8 and joined the International Brotherhood of Magicians in 1994. He performs for businesses and individuals, from weddings to corporate events and everything in between. He has performed for such celebrities as Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts, Kelsea Ballerini, Eric Paslay, Randy Houser, and many more.
James is a mobile DJ and formed We’ve Got The Beat Entertainment in 1997 with his wife Lindsay, they have traveled between Kansas and Ohio DJing weddings, private parties, special events and much more.
